What problems have I found with LMT Forex Formula?* The one issue that I found with LMT Forex Formula is the "learning curve" or the human element. One of the benefits of course of using a robot is that it takes the emotion out of it. But you lose the control of it as well a bit etc.. LMT forex formula uses both software to get the trades but then adds the human element in that it has you look at 4 rules to make sure it is a solid trade. The 4 manual checks are very basic and ANYONE can do them but it does bring the human element into things. So to feel COMPLETELY comfortable with the system it may take you a few trades of watching and doing the manual checks before you have the system mastered. It shouldn't take you longer then a couple of trades even for a newbie. (however due to the fact you may only see 1-2 trades a week this could mean it will be 1-3 weeks before you have mastered the system. Which isn't a lot of time if you are looking for this system to be a LONG TERM solution for your trading but I felt it needed to be said.) * The other drawback to the system is that you have to be available just after the daily bar closes each day. Most brokers close the daily bar at midnight GMT. Which is Late afternoon/early evening for those in the U.S/Canada. And Obviously around midnight in Europe. Each broker will be a little different but you will want to check with your broker for when they close a daily bar. It could be fall during the perfect time of day for you or a horrible time each person will answer that differently. Two things to remember however are this..... The first is you only need about 10-15 minutes to check the charts and move on with your day. So even if this a bad time to trade for you, (IE middle of supper time, work time, sleeping etc..) you don't need to spend a lot of time trading just check the charts and move on. The second thing I wanted to mention was it is suggested that you check just after the daily bar closes however if you can't check for an hour or two later I wouldn't worry about it. During that time of trading the markets tend to be slow and also remember the point of this system is for BIG trades! So if you miss 20-30 pips because you were an hour or two late but the trade produces 300-400 pips of profit it isn't a big deal! Unlike scalping where every second counts this type of trading you can more flexible with. And being a few hours late may also help you get better entry prices on some trades or could even help you avoid bad trades sometimes.
